Cyberpunk 2077 - release Nov 2020

Time to get into Cyber Punk!

Cyberpunk 2077 is a long-awaited role-playing game subject to be released on September 17th, 2020. It was developed by CD Projekt - a Polish game developer, also famous with “The Witcher” games’ series. Cyberpunk 2077 will be available for such platforms as Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Stadia.

What is known so far?
Cyberpunk 2077 is a sci-fi world full of outlaws, hackers, and rival corporations. It’s based on the 1988 tabletop game Cyberpunk (by the way, one of the original game’s characters will appear in the 2077 version and is played by Keanu Reeves).

As comes from the name, Cyberpunk 2077 takes us into the near future, where body modifications are a usual thing. The game’s plot is developing on the densely populated streets of Night City, California - an open world with 6 distinctive districts: City Center, full of fancy companies’ headquarters; Pacifica - mostly abandoned and filled with gangs; Santo Domingo - an industrial center of the city; Heywood - the suburban area; Westbrook that is full of luxury and touristic spots; and finally, Watson with the streets full of immigrants. Players can explore the city, complete various missions, communicate with other citizens, or engage in combats.

Cyberpunk is mostly played from a first-person perspective, although it might be altered during the driving scenes and scripted conversations. The main character you’ll be playing is called V - a mercenary searching for a unique implant that can grant immortality. The players can customize V’s face and body, including voice and gender. You'll also be able to alter basic character stats - Strength and Intelligence, Constitution, Tech, Reflex, and something called “Cool”. The gameplay allows the player to choose V’s background - Street Kid, Nomad, or Corpo, which will affect the dialog options and game starting point.

There are many ways to complete the mission and the best thing is that there is no wrong one. You can choose how to approach the gameplay: play “Solo” - solve every task with a gun; become a “Techie” - focus on gadgets and machinery; or be a “Netrunner” and hack into computers or people's minds to control them. You can also balance all these alter-egos and use it for your advantage.

Cyberpunk 2077 is full of violence, nudity, bad language, and drugs. You can chop off your enemies’ hands one by one, visit brothels, or share weed with gang members. Whatever you do, don’t forget - it will certainly affect the gameplay. Try new things, explore the buildings, interact with others to participate in quests, and you’ll certainly have fun in this broken city of the future!
